Zac and Hannah met during the Spring of sophomore year at the University of Delaware through their mutual friends in 2015. They spent some more time getting to know one another and Zac decided to "unintentionally" take the same painting class as his future wife. During that fall is when the inevitable happened and Zac and Hannah started to date. Not long after that, “I love you’s” were shared in a dark car after a Friday night date. It was then in a bagel shop off of Main Street in Newark where Hannah randomly said to Zac one day “I’m ready” which was followed by a “what?” and a "so, when are you going to ask me to be your girlfriend?" Then things were official. It was during these college years where Zac and Hannah learned how to share their interests and passions, including art projects and cooking on Fridays. There were many adventures to nearby cities in search of art museums and good food. It was also during these years where they learned how to have fun and support each other's interests. After graduation, Zac went out into the big working world as a software engineer and Hannah went on to pursue her masters degree in social work. These years taught them both how to make time for one another and help each other achieve their career goals. Eventually, Zac moved in with some roommates closer to Hannah and they continued to enjoy spending time staying up late on the weekends and cooking food together in between projects and her internships. It was during these years that they learned how to have the hard discussions and prioritize one another with life’s growing responsibilities. After graduating with her master’s degree, Hannah went on to pursue her first job as a social worker helping older adults in Wilmington. It was at this point that Zac wanted to pursue his goal of buying his own house that one day- the two of them would share together. It was during this time of changing jobs and accruing an endless house project list when these two fell even deeper in love. This is when their shared interests and life passions blossomed. Zac finally had the space for his own kitchen, of which Hannah would help design and pick out the colors. Zac also began his own art form of wood working- among his many other talents- so they could make their first home- their dream home. Yes, it is still a giant project. Hannah was able to use all the skills her grandfather and art school taught her to help create designs and decorate their home. It was also during the next few years when Zac and Hannah learned how to support each other through two major family losses- and appreciate life even more. Then in the fall of 2022, in the mountains of Vermont, in the grapevines of a local winery, Zac proposed to his now fiancée. They then got to return home to their three fur babies with the exciting news! We would like to thank both of our families and friends for all of their support and love they have shown us. We look forward to sharing our big day with all of you before we set off on our honeymoon! Love, Zac and Hannah
