Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a private ferry that will pick up and drop off guests from Downtown Portland near the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal. The venue is a scenic 45 minute boat ride away. We will confirm the schedule closer to the wedding date! We will also be providing a private ferry to welcome drinks on Friday from Downtown Portland to Salt Water Grill.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Outdoor cocktail attire. We hope for beautiful weather, but we suggest you bring a jacket or sweater for the ferry! Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, so choose your footwear accordingly!

When should I book my lodging?

Answer

Maine around July 4th is very busy and we anticipate it will be even more so than usual this year. We recommend booking lodging as soon as you know you are able to make it.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all the kids in our lives, our venue is small and very remote so we unfortunately cannot accommodate children. If you do decide to bring your kids for the trip, reach out to Portland Nannies (https://www.portlandnannies.com/) for trusted babysitters!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate dates unless your invitation says “your name + guest” As much as we’d love to give everyone a plus one, our venue is limited to a set number of guests.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out by early March. Please RSVP as soon as possible, at latest by May 1st.

What should I wear to the welcome drinks?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Make sure to bring a jacket for the ferry! Think summer dresses for the ladies and khakis and a button down for the men!
