FAQs

If you have any other questions, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 31, 2025, so that we can give our vendors a final headcount. To RSVP, please click on the RSVP tab at the top of this website.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love the children in our lives, we have decided not to have children under 5 years old attend the ceremony. They are welcome to join us at the reception. Keep in mind that the venue is in a wooded area with a pond, and the venue owners require children to be watched at all times.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You may bring a date if they are listed on your invitation. Due to vendor constraints, we cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It will be July and in the deep south. It will be VERY hot. The ceremony will be held outdoors, so please keep that in mind (and wear sunscreen!). The reception will be held indoors and there will be AC.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free parking at the venue.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of hotel rooms?

Answer

No, we encourage you to find an option that meets your family's needs, whether that be some of the hotels listed on this site, or a condo on the beach.

Question

How should I get to and from the venue?

Answer

If you do not have a car, Uber is available between the hotels and the venue.

Question

What type of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

Barbecue will be served. If you have any dietary restrictions, please reach out to the bride/groom.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would still like to purchase a gift, we are registered with Amazon. Please see the registry tab on this site for a link.

Question

Can we bring gifts to the wedding?

Answer

Due to us traveling between Utah and Florida, we are requesting all gifts be sent to the address in the registry. We are more than happy to take cards with us though.

Question

Can I take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We are choosing to have an unplugged ceremony. A professional photographer has been hired, and we would like everyone to be present in the moment with us :)! You are more than welcome to take photos after the ceremony!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please planned to be seated by 5:20 p.m.. Anyone arriving after the ceremony has started will not be allowed to join and directed to an area to wait.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking guests to dress up some with us! The dress code is cocktail attire. Follow the link below for some inspiration. https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364

Question

Is there anything I should avoid wearing?

Answer

Please do not wear white, cream, ivory, or champagne as they are typically reserved for the bride. We would also like to ask our guests to not wear jeans.

Question

I am unable to attend the wedding. Will you be live streaming it?

Answer

While we will miss you, we will not be providing a live stream.

Question

I am visiting from out of town. What is there to do in the area?

Answer

Check out the Things to Do tab at the top of the site for some ideas.
