FAQs

Question

Venue Info

Answer

The Atreeum is on a dirt road and a private venue with plenty of parking in a gravel lot. Both the ceremony & reception will be held here. It is a greenhouse with 100s of plants both in ground and pots. If you need to move a potted plant for any reason please find a staff member to do so. Please take as many photos as you like but do not touch / damage the plants, we fell in love with the beauty of the venue and want to leave it as we get to enjoy it. There is also a lake on the property so please keep an eye on your children if you venture outside.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Well behaved kids are welcome, the venue is a greenhouse full of beautiful plants. We ask you keep an eye on your kids as we can look but not touch - there is also a lake on the property.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No strict dress code, just please no white! We want our guests to be comfortable and look amazing! Late October in Kansas it is hard to predict the weather, though we will primarily be inside for the ceremony and reception so weather will have a lesser impact on our celebration. Think fall garden party!

Answer

Please let us know if you have a serious food allergy, we will be catering N&J's cafe buffet style.

Question

Can I leave my car at the venue if I have one too many?

Answer

Yes! If you have one too many beverages find other transportation home, there will be lots of family going to similar areas and Ubers available if you are staying in the Wichita area. It is a secure lot at the venue and we will be able to retrieve any vehicles Saturday morning before noon.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 4:30pm for the ceremony, we will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We ask any late arriving guests to wait outside and join us for cocktail hour & reception to follow.

Question

I'm travelling to Kansas, what will the weather be like?

Answer

Kansas weather can be incredibly unpredictable. We will update this question closer to the date however highly recommend you check the weather forecast when you are packing. It could still be quite warm - or we may have seen the first snow already. If the bride gets her way it will be the perfect fall weekend with the trees in peak foliage with highs in the 70s and sunny.
