Trey and I started dating junior year of high school when we were in the same history class and had all of the same lunch periods together. At the time we did not get along, we were always bickering and teasing each other until one day our history teacher, Mr. Hoover, called us out on it by telling us to stop flirting and to date already. The two of us were very surprised by this but then realized he was right, we both really liked each other and decided to give it a try and start dating. We ended up graduating as high school sweethearts and could not wait for what the future held!

In August 2019 we were all down in Ocean City for our family vacation. It was the day before the end of the vacation and Trey and I made plans to ride bikes down the boardwalk with Trey's mom that morning. It was such a beautiful morning and we rode all the way down to the end and Trey knows that I like to look out at the ocean when we get to the end to see all of the boats, so we got off of our bikes and looked out. I kept waiting for a boat to ride by and Trey grabbed my hand, kneeled down, and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and popped the question! We road back down the boardwalk to share the amazing news with my family. I do not think I have ever road my bike that fast to tell my mom the news and show her the ring! The rest of the day was so much fun celebrating with friends, we will never forget that day!
