We met in high school — not as a couple, but as friends who hung out in the same group. We shared laughs, memories, and good times during those years. After graduation, life took us in different directions. Trevor joined the military, and Hannah stayed home to explore her path and focus on school. Time passed, and we went on living separate lives — until one of Trevor’s visits home brought us back together. What started as a simple catch-up quickly turned into something more. We began talking regularly, then FaceTiming every day. The connection felt natural — like something that had been there all along, just waiting for the right moment. That marked the start of our long-distance chapter — and one of the most important seasons of our lives. That moment turned into a long-distance relationship that lasted for the next three years. Hannah flew to Connecticut every few months to visit Trevor, and Trevor came home on leave whenever he could. In between visits, we had countless FaceTime dates, phone calls, and late-night conversations that made the miles feel just a little bit shorter. Eventually, the distance came to an end. Hannah started X-Ray school, and Trevor began figuring out what life looked like after the military. For the first time, we got to enjoy the everyday moments we’d dreamed of for years — coffee runs, movie nights, and simply being in the same place without a clock ticking down. Through it all, one of our favorite things has always been sunsets. Whether we were together or miles apart, we’d make time to watch the sky change — a simple tradition that reminded us we were always under the same sky. So when Trevor proposed during a sunset in New Braunfels, it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was peaceful, meaningful, and completely us. Now, after everything — the friendship, the distance, the growth — we’re finally stepping into our forever, side by side. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
