Since the day Hannah walked into my life, wearing cowboy boots and a jean jacket, I knew she was different than anyone else I'd met. She listened kindly, made me laugh, and didn't run away when I told her what I was looking for. To be honest, looking back, I didn't really know what I was looking for. But, soon enough, I'd be going to parties with the prettiest girl, going to concerts with her and her friends, telling her I loved her (probably a little too early, but who can blame me), and laughing more than I have ever laughed. Turns out she's what I was looking for. She's always been the end goal even when I didn't know about her yet. Now, I'm happy to announce that we want you to be there celebrating the best day, and the one that we've been waiting our whole lives for!
Having done my fair share of growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I'm painfully aware of how awful Oregon winters can be--they're gray, they're cold, they're wet. All around the most miserable parts of living here. But, I met Trevor in November. So, in 2023, I spent all of the freezing, dark, and grey months falling in love with him in between insufficient car heaters, darkness on both sides of the day, and seasonal colds. Every dark gray eventually attached itself to some memory of him in those first few months--when all I wanted was a few more hours in a day so I could spend it dancing around his kitchen, doing everything I could to piss him off or make him laugh. And this continued--whether it be law school finals or snow storms, Trevor makes the best part of any great or worst day. From the outset, Trevor has never hid who he is, what he believes, or where he stands. He remains the kindest person I have ever met. He has the strongest character of anyone I know and a smile that cracks my chest open every time I see it. So, naturally, the worst times of the year became my absolute favorite. It's only fitting that after three years, we'll get married in December. We are so excited to celebrate with you, no matter what Oregon's 2026 winter weather has in store for us. Here's to loving for every change and every season. We'll see you on December 12!
