It is located on the beach at Secret Jewel Celebrations Venue. It is walking distance from Hacienda del Secreto and other villas in Playa del Secreto.
We are hoping that all of our guests can stay in the Playa del Secreto area in Quintana Roo. Playa del Secreto is a small beach town with several beach-front properties available for rent and is where our ceremony and reception will take place. We reserved two neighboring complexes that house 80 total people for the wedding party and friends. We will have more guests than can fit the complexes, so if you would rather book other villas on the same beach or hotels in the area, please feel free to do so! Please feel free to reach out to Tom or Hannah if you need help with accommodations. If hotels are more your speed, there are some all-inclusive hotels just north and south of Playa del Secreto (5-10min down the road by taxi).
In order to secure a private and secluded wedding weekend, we have pre-booked accommodations for 80 people located steps away from the wedding venue. The pricing and room arrangements will be dependent on total attendance and we will work offline with our guests to pay for accommodations if staying "on-site".
Cancun International Airport is the closest airport to Playa del Secreto and is located 20-30 minutes north by car. Taxis are notoriously difficult at Cancun Airport, so we suggest pre-booking a private car or coordinating a shuttle with other guests. Uber/Lyft cannot pick up at the airport. If you are staying in Playa del Secreto and planning to spend your entire vacation with us, you will not need a car as all of the wedding activities are walking distance. However, if you are planning to stay farther or would like to plan trips or excursions to other parts of Riviera Maya, renting a car may be a good option. Taxis are available in the area but may be expensive or difficult to get on-demand. Uber and Lyft are sparsely available.
Yes! Playa del Secreto is only accessible by one road off the highway which has a 24-hour security booth at the entrance where only registered guests are allowed. We will ensure that all guests are on the registered list for the whole weekend so that you can freely enter/exit whenever needed.
Given that we have pre-booked several villas for some wedding guests, we would love to have RSVPs as soon as possible to secure and plan accommodations. We are hoping for responses by September 30th, however please let us know if you need more time and we can plan accordingly.
