The couple will be wearing MAROON and PLUM, so please AVOID these colors! Feel free to wear white instead! ;) The wedding party will be wearing dusty rose/light pink, so we'd prefer if you steer away from that as well. The vibes are cocktail attire. No jeans please! (If you want to help us get cohesive photos, fall colors and neutrals are all a win lol) The venue is a historic stone building, so it cannot be fully air conditioned. It will be cooler than outside, but not by much. Some of the festivities will also take place on the patio!

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we ask that no children under 13 years old attend. If the cost of childcare may restrict your ability to join us, please reach out! We would be happy to help you!

We will double and triple check all guests will be able to partake in our celebrations, no matter the allergy or dietary restriction. PLEASE DO NOT BRING NUTS TO SNACK ON. TAEGEN IS SO ALLERGIC and we would prefer no ER trip on our wedding day, thank you!

Look, LGBTQ stuff is confusing sometimes. We get it. So here's a cheat sheet to our new family: We are partners, fiances, spouses-to-be (betrothed, if you feel so inclined). We don't love the history of the terms "wife" and "bride," so we'd really prefer not to use them. We're not lesbians. The long-and-short of it is that "lesbian" is a surprisingly niche term that neither of us feel comfortable with. We're just gay or LGBTQ if you feel like spelling. (Or queer if you're comfortable using the term!) We'd love to answer any further questions! (Really, we would rather answer questions than have you be lost and confused, I promise.)
