HOW TO GET HERE: Largest airport is San Francisco (~1 hour 20 minutes drive in no traffic to Santa Rosa). There is a local airport (Charles M Schulz airport) in Santa Rosa that flies to some west coast locations such as LA, Portland, Seattle, San Diego, and Las Vegas (~10 minute drive to downtown Santa Rosa).
Travel from SFO: take the Marin Airporter bus to Larkspur Landing and SMART train to Santa Rosa (5 min walk in between)
If traveling from SF city: take ferry from Embarcadero to Larkspur, then SMART train to Santa Rosa
WHERE TO STAY: Here are some options of places to stay. The hotels are located in downtown Santa Rosa (~20 minute drive from the wedding venue, but only 0.5 miles from the Friday night dinner location, La Rosa).
If you are looking to rent a house, I recommend looking on VRBO (or Airbnb but I have seen more stuff on VRBO) for places in Sebastapol, Graton, or Forestville. These are all pretty close to the venue and more scenic than downtown Santa Rosa.
