Denver International Airport (DIA): The largest airport in Colorado, with the most flight options and typically the best pricing. DIA is about a 4–4.5 hour scenic drive from Crested Butte. Renting a car is recommended if you fly into Denver. You’ll find all major car rental companies on site, with frequent shuttles to the rental car center.

Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC): A small, convenient airport located just 30 minutes from Crested Butte. This is the closest and easiest option if flight schedules and cost align. If you fly into Gunnison, picking up a rental car is quick and easy. Options are more limited here, so booking in advance is encouraged.
