Passport: Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the wedding. Currency: Euros (€); credit cards are widely accepted. Language: Spanish is the official language, but English is commonly spoken in hotels and restaurants. Time Zone: Madrid is in Central European Time (CET). That’s 6 hours ahead of Eastern Time (ET) and 7 hours ahead of Central Time (CT).

Taxis & Uber are widely available and affordable. Metro: Clean, safe, and easy to use—perfect for exploring. Walking: Madrid is a very walkable city, especially in neighborhoods like Salamanca, Retiro, and Centro.
