They both went to the same high school but were in different grades. Rob was on the football team and Hannah was a cheerleader but they surprisngly never met. They ended up getting jobs at Chili’s around the same time and hit it off instantly. They would switch shifts to work together and talk all the time! They both became single around the same time and got invited on a Gatlinburg trip with a group from Chili’s. That trip changed everything! They hung out the entire time and became inseparable when they got back home. Rob asked Hannah to be his girlfriend a couple months after that and the rest is history!

They were in Gulf Shores Alabama on an annual trip with their friends and family. The day started out so bad and everything was going wrong. Rob had intended to propose on an island in the bay but the boat ran out of gas so it had to dock early. Hannah was in the worst mood ever by the end of it. From sitting on the hot boat to spilling her Starbucks everywhere, she eventually broke down and cried. They ended up taking a nap and both woke up in the best mood ever. It was one of the last days there so they had planned to take family pictures down by the ocean with everyone! Hannah started taking their friends pictures when one of them told her not to get tied up in the seaweed behind her (because Jerry had popped champange for her to turn around but she didn’t hear it lol). She turned around and Rob was on one knee in the sand. He had talked to Dorinda and Jerry about it earlier in the week so they were taking pictures the entire time (Dorinda was supposed to be recording it but didn’t hit the button lol). Everyone celebrated with champagne on the beach before Shelby took their engagement pictures! They finished the day with dinner at The Gulf and a walk on the beach that night.
