Where it all started

Robert and Hannah met on the 4th of July at a gathering on White Rock Lake with their friends from UpperRoom just one year ago. Their first conversation took place underneath an oak tree off the edge of the lake while the sun was setting. As evening turned into the night, they found themselves sitting on the front lawn enjoying multiple firework shows; a few off in the distance and one in their hearts. Hannah felt led to enter the mission field in Paris and Robert was set to stay in Dallas pursuing his relationship with the Lord. Involvement with a thriving community combined with a passion for their faith propelled them to pursue what the Lord placed on their hearts.

Amidst the twists and turns, Hannah spent two months away from Dallas. They began dating a month after her return and have been inseparable since. Under the support of their family and relationship with their church community, they have grown to know their Christ-centered relationship is a precious gift from God. Rock climbing, hiking, cooking, kayaking, camping, cycling, playing music, painting, praying, reading the Bible and just being complete goofballs have filled their days with laughter and the power of healing love. Robert proposed to Hannah under the same oak tree they met on June 14th, 2023 by White Rock Lake.
