What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional! For the gentlemen, a tux or dark suit with a tie is recommended. For the ladies, we recommend gowns or nice midi/cocktail dresses.

How long will the wedding ceremony last?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will last about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a little over an hour gap between our wedding ceremony and our reception. During the gap, we recommend you walk across the street from the church to the Westin hotel bar for a drink or drop by your hotel room if you're an out of town guest before arriving at the Astorian at 5:00 PM for the reception.

Yes, we have reserved room blocks at two hotels. Navigate to the travel tab of our website for more booking details!

Is there parking available near your ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Our ceremony is at Annunciation Catholic Church in downtown Houston, so parking will be more limited. There is a free church parking lot behind the church across Jackson St, and there is some metered street parking adjacent to the church on Texas St. Additionally, there is a large paid parking lot next to the church on Capital and Crawford St if the church parking lot is full. There will be complimentary valet parking at the reception venue, The Astorian. If you plan on indulging in the open bar at the reception, we encourage guests to use Uber/Lyft!
