One of Hannah's favorite yarn stores in the region (so far!). Closed Sundays.
Ever wanted to enjoy the ice cream you just bought by eating while staring into the eyes of the cow that produced the milk for it? We're not sure we have, either. But you certainly can at Cook's farm! Also - RAW MILK FANS! This place is for you!
Hannah's idea of heaven on earth. Closed Sundays.
Do you quilt? Do you like to look at patterned fabrics? Want to see some sewing machines? And best of all - it's right next to WEBS! So you can get your textile needs all addressed in one area. Closed Sundays.
Funky, obscure bar in a former train station with lovely drinks.
A surprising little bar with lovely cocktails and plenty of local flare. Remy and Hannah's favorite!
For all you basketball fans out there!
Inside Thornes Department store - Hannah's favorite bookstore!
For our climber friends =)
Hannah and Remy's favorite coffee shop with an outdoor patio! Also has small desserts and lunch.
Great food and beer! Especially if you crave a burger and a local brew.
For anyone who has the itch to window shop! Beautiful jewelry, art, textiles, pottery.
Another great shop to pop into and browse - more local artists' work, featuring jewelry, pottery, hair ornaments, cards.
One of Hannah and Remy's favorite stores to wander through and explore - everything from perfume to culinary and gardening tools!
For the cooks in our lives! They also have cooking classes available.
Great cafe for breakfast and lunch! It looks boarded up, but the facade is just under construction - they are still open and delicious!
The best fresh-baked goods! Rotating menu of breads, cookies, scones, biscotti, cookies, and sometimes pizza - all depending on the weekday! If you are wondering, "Is there still food?" look for the sign that answers, "Yes"!
Beautiful cafe with great breakfast options - good coffee, in-house baked goods, and a great patio outside. No reservations so plan accordingly (aka go early) or brace for a wait!
We love this restaurant - feels like a small diner. Might be open for lunch, but definitely for breakfast - great coffees and teas to match!
Are you tipsy, drunk, or just in need of a great burger - and not wanting to wait long to eat? This is the place to go.
Very tasty Mexican food! Salsa bar available and lots of great fare. We highly recommend the fajitas.
Great drinks! Would recommend eating elsewhere, but we love their beers.
Want to take a walk and enjoy some lovely views without the elevation? Check out this trail!
Do you want a hike with some height? This trail requires some effort, but is one you can do in tennis shoes (carefully) and has a beautiful view at the end! You can make it easier by walking up/down the paved road, or make it harder by taking the path through the woods =)
Check out the local library! Also the library for President Calvin Coolidge - who has his own suite within! Upstairs there is typically a rotating art gallery (items available for purchase!). If you wander across the street you can check out the grounds of Smith College.
An art museum experience for $5 or less! Afterward, check out Hungry Ghost!
Do you love to thrift? If so, this place is for you - great collection, the best Hannah's mom has ever seen! If it's mother approved, you know it's quality ;)
It may come up under a different name when you look up the address, but this is a great cafe - especially for anyone who needs to sit down and do a little work on their laptops.
