If Love were a storybook, we would meet on the very first page!

Nick had planned a day for us to go out to huntsville to visit his dad for his birthday, Saturday February the 9th. So we go out to Huntsville and eat at this fancy steakhouse, we tried fried goat cheese balls. We then headed to the Sam Houston State Park to feed the ducks. I played some music and while giving his dad a gift bag he dropped something and asked his dad “when is your birthday?” To which his dad answered “May 4th” I was confused and the next thing I know Nick is on his knee, proposing.

Nick and I had waited awhile to engage in physical affection, because we wanted to make sure we had more in common than physical attraction! We had an all day date on september 21st, visiting my side of town! Shopping at Hobby Lobby, getting matching shirts at the mall and to finish it off a scenic drive watching the sunset and jamming to Tom Petty! We decided to see a 9 oclock showing of a movie called “The Boys” and when we parked at AMC, I leaned over and kissed Nick. It was abrupt but also very sweet! I will never forget our first kiss on the 21st night of september.

September 22nd, Hannah and I went on a picnic at Pundt Park! We ate sushi and pizza, danced to music playing off my phone. On our nature walk later on, I confessed that I was falling in Love with her and asked her to be my girlfriend, she said yes and shorty after I bought her a promise ring.
