We're getting married!

We met on a dating app called Bumble, and from the very first conversation, something just clicked. The messages flowed effortlessly — we were laughing, teasing, asking real questions, and genuinely getting to know each other. There was an instant comfort and connection between us that felt different from anything either of us had experienced before. That night, I asked if he wanted to go out, but he told me, “I’d love to take you on a proper date, but I’m just working in the garage tonight. You’re welcome to come by, but I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable meeting at my place first.” That honesty and respect immediately put me at ease, so I agreed. After work, I got ready and went to meet the man who would unknowingly change my life. We ended up sitting in his garage from 9 p.m. until 2 in the morning — talking, laughing, sharing stories, and realizing how natural it all felt. I laughed harder than I had in years, and by the end of the night, it felt like we’d known each other forever. I remember calling my mom afterward and telling her, “I think I just met my future husband.” Somehow, I just knew.
