Our Wedding

May 22, 2027

We’re planning an intimate wedding in one of our favorite places in the world, a place that feels the most like us. Surrounded by the people we love most, we’ll spend the day celebrating quietly, intentionally, and wholeheartedly. Afterward, we’ll gather for a cozy celebration that evening to continue the joy together. At a later date, we also plan to host a larger reception to celebrate with our extended family and friends. If you received a Save Our Date, please know you hold a very special place in our hearts. We truly cannot wait to share this meaningful day with you. Love, Nate and Hannah

Our Story

All Because Two People Swiped Right

It all started in early 2019, when Nate was visiting friends at East Lansing and a dating app brought us together. What began as simple conversations quickly turned into months of talking back and forth, until Hannah finally worked up the courage to make the drive north to the little town of Merrill to meet him in person. For our very first date over Memorial Day weekend, we decided to head up north for a camping trip. Looking back, disappearing into the woods together for a first date might have been a little bold (and maybe a little sketchy), but somehow it felt easy from the very beginning—and it ended up being the start of everything. A few months later, while exploring Merrill together, Nate wanted Hannah to meet his siblings, so we stopped by his stepdad’s house. During the visit, his stepdad casually assumed we were already officially together. Instead of correcting him, we just smiled and went along with it. From that moment on, we never really looked back. Life together led us all over Michigan. We spent time living in Mesick before eventually moving south to Okemos, where we shared our very first apartment together in 2021. That same year, our little family grew when we adopted our cats, Cider and Boo. In 2023, we found a house to rent in Holt and quickly turned it into a home we love dearly. Not long after settling in, we welcomed our sweet boy Leo into the family in 2024. Then, in March 2026, everything came full circle. Nate proposed to Hannah at our favorite camping spot along the Manistee River near Mesick—the very place that holds so many of our favorite memories together. Now, surrounded by the people we love most, we can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
