Travel Note
To travel to London from the U.S citizens will need a valid passport, as well as a UK electronic travel visa (ETA). Eligible visitors should apply for their ETA through the UK ETA app, which is quick and simple to use and enables most applicants to receive a decision in hours. Visitors can also apply on GOV.UK if they do not have access to a smartphone. Please note that there are multiple international airports in the London area. The most affordable and efficient way to get from the airports into the city are by taking the tube. Please check the website for your respective airport to learn more about train routes that can take you directly into the city.

We recommend getting an Oyster Card, or "Tube" pass. This is London's metro system and is very efficient in getting you where you need to go without the need of a rental car

Whenever we travel, we like to make sure we have cell service wherever we go. If you do not currently have a phone plan that includes international data, we recommend using an electronic sim card (e-sim). We have used the company Airalo to purchase e-sims for the countries we travel to, which make using e-sims quick, easy, and affordable.
Train
We recommend using Google Maps to help get around the city. The app can help you find train routes, walking directions, landmarks, and restaurants.
Flight
Icelandic Air is a budget airline usually with a short layover in Iceland before finishing your crossing of the pond. The Iceland airport is very clean and relaxed.
