We recommend that our guests stay in the town of Varenna - located on the east shores of Lake Como. There are plenty of great Airbnb and Hotel options that are within walking distance to the boat dock, train station, and Villa Cipressi. Several Direct Flight options can be found from JFK, IAD, EWR, and PHL to Milan Airport (MXP) or Rome (FCO) Please reach out to Michael for assistance finding the best flight options. We have also saved several flight options with different airports and arrival/departure dates in the link below, but feel free to check Google Flights for more options.

Varenna Esino - Train Station located in Varenna Tickets can be booked through Trenitalia or Trenord We recommend that everyone download the Trenitalia and Trenord Train Apps You will need to search the station in the App by the Italian names below: Varenna Esino (Varenna) Roma Termini (Rome) Milano Centrale (Milan) Firenze SMN (Florence) Venezia Santa Lucia/Mestre (Venice) Napoli Centrale (Naples) *You can also search for "Rome Train Terminal" on Google Maps. This will return the Italian name for the terminal you are looking for. *Note - app will only work when using phone data (not on WiFi)
Travel Note
Transportation, via private boats, will be provided to transfer guests from Villa Cipressi (Varenna) to Villa Balbianello and back to Villa Cipressi on Wedding Day
