Right before Max takes off down the mountain...no time for pictures on a blue bird day!

Beauty & the Beast...clearly.

The story of how Max proposed...click right.

H&M decided to take an impromptu weekend trip to Yosemite. Their friends recommended hiking Cloud's Rest -a 16mi hike with 360 degree views at the peak! They got up before sunrise on Nov 3 to start!

Hannah wasn't expecting anything - only dreading the narrow ridge you must scale to get to the peak!

They made it up 7 miles and across the ridge to the top and WOW the views were phenomenal! Do you see Max's hand securely in his vest pocket holding onto the ring box? Hannah didn't notice...

H&M found a private cove and took in the view. M surprised H and took out a scrapbook she'd made years ago detailing the major moments in the 1st year of their relationship. It was unfinished because-

M promised H that he would add a page about this amazing moment they had during a sunset on the coast of CA 4 years ago. Until now, that page had been empty, M had a plan for it all along...

Hannah opened the book to find his note about that evening with the sunset. With tears in her eyes, she read Max's note saying it was that moment, 4 years ago, that he knew he wanted to marry her...

And with that, Max got down on one knee and asked Hannah to marry him!

She said "YES!"

Max pretty much blacked out and a few minutes later, asked - wait, did you say yes???

It was the most perfect, meaningful, and memorable day!
