We were friends for 4 years in our undergrad at the University of Montana. We met through the student group Advocates and we became close friends when we ended up taking physics together (Hannah's sophomore year and Max's second junior year). Flash forward to 2020 and Max got the crazy idea to ask Hannah out on date. Hannah thought it was just friends hanging out, but she was informed by their friends that it was indeed a date. We both ended up ordering the pulled pork sandwich at Lolo Peak Brewing and hit it off. Flash forward two more dates and Hannah panics and calls it off. Neither of us were in a good mental health state and Hannah needed *space*. Max being the guy that he is decided to maintain the friendship and offer to teach Hannah how to play piano (something she had always wanted to do). Hannah, also wanting to maintain the friendship, agreed. Flash forward a month and Hannah caught feelings again. 10/20/2020 - the start of a 3 month secret relationship. 01/01/2021 - the day we told our friends that we started dating again. 03/20/2021 - the day Max met Hannah's family. 04/30/2021 - the day Hannah met Max's family AND the day he found out he got into medical school. 06/21/2021 - Max moves to Wisconsin. Queue 3 years of long distance. 10/20/2023 - 3 year anniversary! Max flies into Missoula to surprise Hannah and proposes! 12/15/2023 - Hannah graduates with her MPH (Masters of Public Health)! 02/10/2024 - Hannah moves to Wisconsin to be with Max 03/15/2024 - Max matches to WMed in Kalamazoo, MI 05/17/2024 - Max and Hannah buy a house in Kalamazoo! 05/30/2024 - Max graduates medical school! 06/02/2024 - Hannah and Max move into their new house! 06/20/2026 - Getting married!
