FAQs

The Wedding Website of Hannah Garelick and Matt Koch
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. We suggest that men wear suits and loafers and women wedges or flats with their long dresses as the wedding will be on the beach.

Question

Is the whole party outdoors?

Answer

Yes both our ceremony and reception will be on the beach! The ceremony will be fully open air and the reception will take place under a tent.

Question

What times do shuttles pick up guests? How long is the walk from hotel to wedding?

Answer

Shuttle pick-up times will start at 4pm from the Hyatt & Haley's Court and will be looping around till 4:15pm. All guests will be seated for a 4:30pm ceremony start time. Please note, the walk from Haley's Court and the Hyatt takes about 5-10 minutes but the road is busy and there is not a designated sidewalk so please be careful and dress comfortably for the uneven terrain if you choose to walk!

Question

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests please keep their phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all the special moments, so you will be able to enjoy the celebration and feel fully present with us. Thank you for helping us create an unplugged ceremony!

Question

Can I bring a gift to the venue?

Answer

Your presence is our greatest gift! If you would like to contribute, we ask that you visit our registry and consider a gift to our fund or bring a card to the wedding. Since we are currently living in Seattle traveling back with larger gifts is not ideal. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What airport do I fly in to?

Answer

The nearest airport is Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). It’s about an hour drive from airport to wedding!

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is no parking at the wedding venue. Please use our shuttle services from the Hyatt and Haley’s court or use ride shares like Uber or Lyft!
