There are a lot of airbnb rentals in Oakland. If you go this route, we suggest looking in these neighborhoods: Rockridge, Temescal, and Grand Lake. They're all within a 15 minute drive of the wedding site, and you'll be walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, bookstores, and shops. If you're unsure, feel free to send us the listing before booking.

Getting Around Oakland

Getting around Oakland is pretty easy. You can rent a car if you prefer, but it's easy to get a Lyft, and many neighborhoods are walkable. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, so if you want to rent a car we recommend staying at the Sheraton, which has free parking for hotel guests.

Flight

Oakland Airport

Oakland Airport is easier to get to and from than San Francisco Airport, but SFO may have more direct flights. Several major airlines fly into Oakland, including Southwest, Alaska, American, Delta, and JetBlue. From the airport, you can take BART to MacArthur Station and catch the Emery Go Round to the hotel, pick up a rental car, or catch a Lyft to where you're staying.
