Pescadero is a cute little town that we've loved going to over the years. If you've got an hour or so to kill, this is a nice stop. Wander Stage Rd. and visit a few artsy shops, grab the famous Artichoke bread from Arcangeli Grocery Co., and if you can, sample some wine and goat cheese at the Sante Arcangeli tasting room.
Sante Arcangeli makes some of the best wine we've ever had, and have a strong focus on the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes which thrive in the Santa Cruz Mountains-- though their Zinfandel is amazing as well. While we went to the tasting room in Aptos on our second date, the tasting room in Pescadero is magical and, if you plan ahead, can be paired with goat cheese from the working goat farm that it shares property with!
This is one of our favorite routes to ride road bikes, and it is a great sampler of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Tunitas Creek Road will blow your mind.
If you're interested in checking out Santa Cruz, where we met and lived, don't forget to enjoy the drive along the way! The attached link has a great rundown of all the things you can see as you make your way south.
Coming soon! Hannah's amazing sister, Julia, is putting together a brief guide/list for anyone wanting to explore a little bit of San Francisco. Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair!
