What is the dress code?

The dress code is garden party semi-formal We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing shades of white, cream, and ivory (that’s reserved for the bride!) and solid black, as we’re hoping to keep the overall mood light and celebratory.

What does "garden party semi-formal" mean?

Answer

Think polished but not overly formal. Dresses, jumpsuits, or skirts/dress pants with a dressy top for women, and slacks with a button-down or sport coat for men. Feel free to have fun with florals, ruffles, soft colors, and outdoor-friendly fabrics. Just avoid white to keep the vibe fresh and festive!

Can we smoke or vape at the venue?

Answer

No. The venue has a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy (including e-cigarettes) anywhere on the property. We kindly ask all guests to honor this rule.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “+1,” absolutely! Otherwise, we’d love to keep it to those on the guest list. If you have questions please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom.

Answer

We adore your families, but due to venue limitations we’re unable to accommodate young children at the wedding. Older children and teens are welcome if indicated on your invitation. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom.

How far is the venue from home?

The venue, Valley Oaks, is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes from both Florence and Sparta, KY. We hope this helps with planning your travel for the day!
