Just recently we tried to go back + remember the first time we ever met. We were only able to narrow it down to 4th or 5th grade. Little did we know, those years would be just the foundation of what was to come. I had the biggest crush on Logan the second I laid eyes on him in 4th/5th grade + did everything in my power to get his attention. Friends were all we were until the end of my Freshman year, in 2014, he decided he wanted to take me out on our first ever date. All I could think was "it's about time." Logan graduated a year ahead of me + went off to Oregon State University to pursue a degree in Forest Engineering. My senior year of high school felt like the longest year of my life. When the time came for me to graduate + join him at OSU, all I could think was "it's about time." We graduated college + moved back home to bounce in between our parents house until we found something for ourselves. Within the last year we have finally moved out on our own + bought our own house. Once again, all I could think was "it's about time." After almost eight years of being together, we are engaged + all we keep hearing is "it's about time." We know this comment is always out of love! But if there is one thing I have learned it is that there is a perfect time for everything. Those years of me waiting for the one date, the graduation, the house + the engagement were well worth it + put us in the exact spot we are in now. Good things come with time + we couldn't be more excited about the times that are to come.
