Our Story

Absence makes the heart grow fonder...

Hannah and Logan’s story started the way all great love stories do: in a hitting facility at Radford University. They both greeted each other surrounded by bats, and softball/baseball gear. At the time, neither of them knew that a casual “hey” in college would eventually turn into something much bigger. They crossed paths a few more times, exchanging hellos around campus and in the athletic training room during the 2021 softball and baseball season, when both were recovering from injuries. It wasn’t until later that summer that things truly began, when Logan made a bold move and slipped into Hannah’s DMs to wish her a “Happy Birthday.” What started as a simple message quickly became the beginning of their story. From there, conversations grew and so did their connection. Their first date? Logan drove from Tennessee to Georgia to take Hannah to a Braves game, which was basically the perfect setup for two athletes. Between the ballpark atmosphere and time together, it didn’t take long to realize this was something special and the beginning of their long-distance relationship together. They have now been together for almost five years living in different states. They both understood each other's commitment to school and their sport, which helped them through their separation. In turn, this bonded them even more. They have spent many days apart, but they were always there for each other not matter how many miles between them. When they did find time together, it was even more special and treasured. So, what began with a meeting in a hitting facility turned into a true love story built on faith, friendship, and the kind of connection that can handle any distance. After all the miles, memories, and moments that brought them here, they’re so excited to finally say “I do” and start their next chapter together as husband and wife... living in the same state!
