PLEASE NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL ON OR INSIDE THE VENUE! TAILGATING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND THE BRIDE AND GROOM WILL GET FINED! They will transfer the fine for you to pay, and it is very hefty. PLEASE NO DRUGS! This includes marijuana. Even heftier fines apply. PLEASE NO TOBACCO! Chewing tobacco is fine, but no spitting on property grounds. Please clean up after yourself. No cigarettes, the bride is allergic to nicotine. E-cigarettes are fine, but not indoors.

Please RSVP no later than September 3rd. An exact guest count can help the newlyweds save some money!!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

There is an RSVP page with a link for you to type the last name of the first person listed on the envelope. Please fill out for everyone in your party if you will/will not be attending both the wedding and the reception.

What Should I Wear?

Answer

While our location is set in the country, we wanted everyone to dress their best! Woman: This can be a dress (not white for obvious reasons!) or business casual! Please no jeans!! The groom and groomsmen are wearing jeans! Men: A suit is not necessary! The father of the bride will be wearing one, as this is his baby girl's special day! The groomsmen are wearing jeans (NO HOLES, NO RIPS!) with button down dress shirts, a suit jacket, a tie, boots, and the option of a cowboy hat. Please no jeans with holes or rips. Please no muddy boots (We are responsible for cleaning the venue). Please no white out of respect for the bride! Essentially come in anything from a suit to business casual!

Are Children Invited?

Answer

While we LOVE children, we ask that you please leave them at home if possible! Yes, children will be there, but they are family! If your children need to come with you to attend our day, please let us know in advance!! The reception will be kid-friendly until after dinner is completed. Alcohol will be served, so keep this in mind!

Can I Bring a Plus-One/Date?

We respectfully are declining plus-ones/dates unless specifically invited by the bride and groom. If you would like to bring someone who is not attached to your invite, please talk to us and we can see if we can work something out!

What Time Should I Arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is starting promptly are 4:00 PM. We ask that you please be seated for the ceremony no later than 3:45 PM!

Where are the Ceremony and Reception Taking Place?

Answer

The Ceremony is located behind the barn, under the pavilion. It overlooks a beautiful countryside where we hopefully have some fall colors peaking through! The Reception is located inside the barn! Please follow the direction of staff after the ceremony has concluded so the bridal party can get ready for their entrance! We all know how Missouri weather is... So in the event of weather (snow, rain, ice, etc.) we will be moving our ceremony into the reception space inside the barn!

Is There Parking Available?

Answer

Yes, of course! There is a LARGE gravel lot located in front of the barn. Parking will be on gravel and line down the road. Parking is first come, first served. If you need closer parking, please let us know by September 3rd!

Will Transportation be Provided?

Answer

Nope! Our wedding ceremony and reception are located at the same venue! How lucky for us! This also means there will be no transportation for further parking, so please let us know if you need closer parking by September 3rd!

What Should I Do If I Have A Dietary Restriction?

Answer

Our menu will not be dietary restriction-friendly to my knowledge. Please let us know what your dietary restrictions are and we will reach out to our caterer for further information!

Will the The Wedding Be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Outdoors! We are getting married under the pavilion overlooking the countryside! So, we will most likely proceed with an outdoor wedding, even if it rains. The pavilion is entirely covered!

Can I Take And Post Pictures On Social Media?

Answer

Of course! Although, we ask that you PLEASE DO NOT TAKE PHOTOS DURING OUR CEREMONY! We are having an unplugged ceremony and will have signs and announcements of such! We have incredible photographers and videographers who will be hard at work capturing our day!

What Should I Do Between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

We will be having a cocktail hour to provide time for family photos! We are having a cash bar, so drink at your leisure during this hour! There is also plenty of outdoor waiting area between the venue and the groomsmen lodging if the weather cooperates!
