We apologize for the time frame in which you are receiving our save the dates and invites! We have been waiting for our wedding to become a reality for so long that eventually we were just like, lets do this! We are ready to be married but understand our family and friends want to share this moment with us, so we are trying to accommodate to those important to us in the best way we know how. While we hope you will be able to join us, we completely understand if your schedule doesn't allow it. Hopefully we can plan something else together in the future!
We are ready to be married! we have been together for 6 years now and engaged for almost 2 and are so excited to begin this new chapter together, we couldn't wait anymore! There is a chance we will throw a bigger party in the future, so stay tuned!
Unfortunately, because we are getting married in a courthouse, we are only allowed to have so many people join us, so it is invitation only. If there is someone you are thinking of bringing, we probably already thought of them too, and we will be reaching out to request celebrating at a later date. Please reach out with any questions!
We are doing all of the wedding fun in one week! we are spending time with each other and our wedding party to celebrate our love, and this was the best and most convenient option to make sure everyone can be included. it is not a long commute at all, and you have the option to continue your weekend in Austin after or head back home! (this is an excuse for everyone to get away and have fun!)
Please wear comfy formal attire. Our wedding will be inside a courthouse and dinner will be outside, so be mindful!
We are eloping in the Austin courthouse and will have dinner outside at The County Line on the Lake!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30, so please allow yourselves enough time to find parking as well as the room. Here are some directions we have received from the precinct to make this a little easier for you: The courthouse is located on Guadalupe St. in between 10th and 11th Street. Parking can be found at meters in the nearby vicinity. At the front of the courthouse, you will see a grand staircase outside. You will go down one of the tunnels that is located on the left & right side of the staircase. Our office is the first door on your left hand side as you pass through security screening. As for dinner, we have given 2 hours in between in which we will take pictures with our wedding party. The restaurant is only about 20 minutes from the courthouse. Dinner will begin at 5:30, and the restaurant has a beautiful outside area where we can take pictures with everyone! We can't wait to see you!
