As passionate artists, we were both drawn to the film school at Liberty University. We had interacted many times throughout that first year in school, but we were too shy to think – or admit – that we had feelings for each other. The final project that year was working on a month-long TV pilot in the spring of 2019, that’s where we fell in love. We would distract each other when we were supposed to work on something serious – it’s a miracle we didn’t get in trouble. A month after filming wrapped, we started dating. Since then, we have worked on many film and art projects together, trusting each other artistic instincts, surviving a pandemic together, and falling more in love with each other every day.

On the Tuesday night before thanksgiving. Hannah was cooking dinner and got a text from Josiah saying he was going to be working late. At that time Josiah was actually at a jewelry store buying an engagement ring. Hannah was lounging on the couch when she got a text from Josiah asking her to help bring some work equipment inside. Hannah bundled up and walked out the door to see Josiah on one knee, with a small box, and a question. Hannah had an answer, yes!

To us, a wedding is a union of two people witnessed by family and friends. As much as we would love to invite every one of you, we are trying to save money for our future. So to keep our wedding small, only our immediate family will be joining us in person. We still want to share this moment with everyone, so we would like to invite all of our friends and family to join us virtually with a live stream.
