Maid of Honor
I met Megan at JMU, when we both joined Alpha Delta Pi. Senior year, we lived in the chapter house together. That's where you'd find the two of us, peeking around corners, giggling when boys were let into the house (they weren't allowed), and then loudly singing, "Boys, Are, In-the-House, Boys-Are-In-The-House". Or if you dropped by at night, you'd surely find us in the basement, pulling way too many all-nighters to be considered healthy. She was a steady go-to for support and wise advice (whether I took it or not). All these years later, and our friendship has only grown richer. I'm so lucky for this crazy life and how it reconnected us in Charlottesville. She's been a truly wonderful friend to me and I'm so thankful to have her by my side as I marry the man of my dreams.
Best Man
I met Je’well at transfer orientation for JMU. After texting me constantly about the fraternity he joined, and how I should come out to events, I finally caved because I ran out of excuses not to. If it weren't for him, I would never have joined Theta Chi and my entire college experience would have paled in comparison to what it was. In fact, I never would have met Hannah had Je’well not constantly harassed me to take a chance. These days, we don't get to see each other nearly as much, but he is still one of the best friends I've ever had. It always feels like “old times” whenever we get the chance to catch up and I appreciate all the adventures we have survived together. I can’t think of a better man, and friend, by my side while I marry the most amazing woman in the world.
