We're getting married!

We always knew this day was coming; after all, we picked out the engagement ring together. But Josh was determined to keep the exact moment a surprise. In the months leading up to the proposal, I (Hannah) was constantly trying to piece together clues, narrowing it down to the day but having no idea how or when it would actually happen. Finally, the big day arrived! Josh and I prepared for a walk with our beloved pup, Goose. We decided to explore a new park and started down a scenic trail. As we strolled along, we noticed a family taking holiday photos and further down, a girl was having her picture taken. Just as we were passing by the girl, the photographer stopped us, complimented Goose, and asked if they could take his picture. Of course, we agreed. As I bent down to get Goose ready for his close-up, Josh pulled a bandana out of his pocket and asked me to put it on Goose. I was confused but excited and took the bandana from Josh. When I looked at it, my heart skipped a beat. There, written on the bandana, were the words, "Will you marry me?" And in that perfect, unexpected moment, surrounded by the beauty of the park and the love of our lives, I said yes.
