For the wedding, David and I ask that you please wear what makes you feel comfortable in a summer formal or dressy church attire, good examples of these can be found on Google! Slacks and a polo/button-up or a nice summer dress would be a great example. We ask that you not wear jeans, sneakers, hoodies, or other casual wear as well as no bright/bold colors. No clothing in the color shades of white, ivory, off-white, or anything similar is allowed.
There will be no alcohol being served at the wedding. Guests are not allowed to bring any alcohol with them to the ceremony or reception due to insurance issues. If any guest is found bringing any alcohol in or shows up intoxicated they will be asked to leave immediately.
We want as many of our close friends and family as possible to celebrate our marriage with us but due to limited space and COVID-19 restrictions we are not able to have as many join us as we would like. We are limited in seating and request that only those that the invitations are addressed to attend. If we have room for a date for you, they will be on your invitation, if not, please do not bring someone. Any guests not on the guest list will not have a seat or food available for them.
During family pictures after the ceremony, we will be serving fruit and small snacks prior to dinner. For dinner, we will be catering Mission BBQ. If you have any sort of allergies please first consult the caterers' websites for information about the ingredients of the food being served. If a majority or all of the being serve conflicts with your allergy please contact Hannah or David and we will do our best to work it out that you will have plenty of food to eat! Please keep in mind we have no control over any cross-contamination that may occur.
While Oak Creek Farm is a beautiful venue with well-kept grounds it is still a farm. There are domesticated show cows and a llama that can be enjoyed from behind the fences. While it was mentioned that the site is well-kept be mindful of what you wear considering it is a farm. For example, we recommend flat or wedged shoes as heels could early sink into the ground causing an accident. Any dress or attire that is floor-length may get dirty since the ceremony is held outside on a grassy lawn.
