We first met each other in January of 2020 at a mutual friends get together after the Bears Hockey game. The interest and attraction was apparent but after exchanging numbers we kept the conversations short for a few months. We ended up celebrating St Patrick’s Day that year together and that was when we really hit it off. Our very first date was at Gilles. The dates continued, walks with the dogs, & hanging out with mutual friends became our thing. We also got to know each other very well spending COVID together, hate to bring that up but having to quarantine in a new relationship at your parents house brought the relationship to another level! 😂

We planned our first vacation together for January of 2021. We were going to Colorado to visit Jordan’s best friend, Boyd. Weeks leading up to our vacation I just had a feeling something was coming.. Fast forward to the morning of vacation, we are leaving to head to Milwaukee. Jordan seemed nervous and was urgently looking for something. We get ready to leave, I get in the passenger side of my car, Jordan hops in the driver seat. Still acting very strange.. We head off & stop to fill up the car and as I am getting out, I looked down & noticed a red ring box in the compartment of the door and froze. I didn’t want him to know I just found what he obviously was scrambling for. All I was thinking was “Who the hell would leave an engagement ring in a car overnight”.. I came back out to the car and the ring box was gone & Jordan was all smiles and ready to go. I woke up every single day of vacation wondering what day it was going to happen, what I would wear, should I say yes.. so many thoughts were running through my head. He waited until the 2nd to last day to propose. We were in Breckenridge all day stopping at all the shops & breweries. After dinner we walked through a path that was lit up, still decorated with Christmas lights & that’s when he got down on one knee and asked the big question. Even though I knew it was coming, I was in tears and still so shocked. We spent the rest of the night telling our family & friends our exciting news! On the day he proposed, he was purposely playing “I got a diamond in my pocket” by Cody Johnson & I didn’t catch on at all.

Since then we have just been enjoying the engagement life. We moved into our first home together with our two dogs, Myah & Molly. Have traveled, went on camping trips & just learning to live life together. We can’t wait for our wedding day & are so excited to be celebrating it with you!
