Hannah and Jonah first met in March of 2021. As Covid was in full swing, an online app brought them together. Hannah was “just looking for a farmer” as her profile stated. The first date was a river walk with old fashions and Murphy the pup. They shared their passions for food and sustainability, and both cherished how easy it was to be together. At that time, Hannah was adamant that she was ready to leave Teton Valley and move to Washington… but Jonah had other ideas. Soon, they were long-distance partners as Jonah was busy running the farm in Victor, and Hannah the executive director at Hole Food Rescue in Jackson. Two years ago, Hannah and her mischievous cat, Hank, moved over to Victor. Hannah and Jonah have been busy with projects, like enlisting the help of both sets of parents for the construction of the yurt in 2023, raising meat chickens, and making sure they have time to enjoy the outdoor adventures they love. Their newest passion is pickleball, honing in on Hannah’s tennis background and Jonah’s competitive nature. They are so excited to officially tie the knot, even though Hannah has known this would happen since their 3rd date. They have grand plans for building a house on the farm, designed by the famous architect, Kevin Cooley, and then starting a family. Jonah, Hannah, Murphy, and Hank couldn’t be happier together and are so excited to celebrate with all of you.
