Jonah and I knew of each other through mutual friends. Jonah and I had been following each other on Instagram. On Christmas 2014, Jonah decided to comment on one of my pictures. He eventually asked for my number. On December 28, 2014, we went on our first date. Jonah and I showed up in the same exact flannel. I wore it over a t-shirt and Jonah wore his as a button up. We still laugh about this and say it was a sign. We drove around Fort Payne and talked for hours. (It was more of me talking and Jonah saying very little. Anyone who knows Jonah knows he doesn’t say much till he gets to know you.) The very next date was very interesting because we met each other’s families. After Jonah met my family, I went to meet his family. Jonah’s Nana told him that night that she knew I was going to be her granddaughter one day. Even though she isn’t here physically to see it, she was right and we can’t wait to honor her, Jonah’s Pawpaw, and my Grandpa Taylor at our ceremony. (Moving on because I will get emotional). Since those first two dates, our love has just became stronger. On March 10, 2019, Jonah asked me to spend forever with him at Little River Canyon, where we went on our first date! Jonah and I have a relationship like no other. During the last five years, we have became parents to three amazing dogs, went on trips, gotten jobs, bought a house, and many more things. We went from those crazy high schoolers in a relationship to being engaged and now we are getting married! Not many people are lucky enough to find the person they are going to marry so early on in life but Jonah and I did. I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life! We are so excited to start this next chapter together! June 6, 2020 can't come fast enough!
