We went into a trip expecting to serve others, but we never expected to walk away with the greatest gift of all: each other! In 2023, we met on a mission trip to Guatemala. At the time, Hannah was living in Louisiana and John was living in North Carolina. Somewhere between serving together and getting to know each other, we realized there might be something worth pursuing. What we didn't know was that a friend on the trip had been trying to set us up the entire time! John Rome thought Hannah was pretty, and Hannah thought John Rome was a little crazy. Turns out, that was a pretty good starting point. One of the funniest parts of our story is that we grew up in the same hometown and somehow never met. It took traveling to another country for our paths to finally cross. Since then, we've built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and a whole lot of answered prayers. Looking back, it's easy to see God's hand in every detail and every step that led us to each other! Now we're getting ready for our favorite chapter yet, and we're so grateful to celebrate it with the people we love most!! Hannah & John Rome
