It was a day like any other, only Mr.Walker suggested i dress nicely, as he was going to take me to dinner since we had not celebrated valentines day. So all dolled up we went south in the vet, passing the sign for jupiter (mind you the lighthouse was one of our first dates), we pull up to such a nice restraunt just opposite of the jupiter lighthouse. as we waited for our table we sat on the pier reminiscing, and gawking over how beautiful it was out. the moon was full fisherman were reeling in snook all around us (john was giddy), and i like always was enjoying the scenery and taling photos of the lighthouse. now unkowing to the event of this night i had my camera in panoramic setting to capture the whole scene as im saying to john with my back turned to him and taking a panoramic photo this is the most perfect night, i turn to him holding the ring! couldnt have been better timing for him haha. i was so taken back, that i didnt believe it, my first thought was is he tieing his shoe is that a gumball machine ring, i said "John this isnt funny, i will push you off the dock, stop playing." John just laughs and says are you going to put this ring on or what dummy. 🤣 now take into account we have been togeather for 6 years have a home children ect, marriage just wasnt a focus to us. so our proposal may not have been sweet and sincere but it was real and authentic. John and i are jokesters, and this moment in time couldnt have been more perfect for us!
