No, it's not something we wanted to do. We picked Kauai to exchange vows & get married elopement style on Tunnels Beach- turns out our friends and family wanted to come to Kauai too! State law does not allow large gatherings on the beaches.
We will be staying at a house in Poipu, 2225 Pane Rd, Koloa, HI We are staying from Saturday-Tuesday in that house
The southern region of the island has: -Stable weather (more sun) -Calmer waters -More restaurants/ retailers -Less expensive lodging options vs. private homes & high-end hotels -Closer to airport

Yes, we suggest a car so you can explore the island on your own time. We will be making more plans on ways for us to be together in casual settings but for groceries, meals, things to do, etc., we would suggest getting a car. Book soon if that's what you decide to do! It is a small island on a holiday weekend. There is uber, but extremely minimal and hard to get
