Stonebrook Lodge of Murphy

This is the recommended hotel for wedding guests. It is less than 5 miles to the Wedding Venue and right near Harrah's Cherokee Valley Casino. To receive the wedding discount, you must call (cannot book online), and mention the Franklin-Hayde wedding block. The price varies based on the nights you are staying. Thursday night is $109, Friday night is $149 and Saturday night is $159 (plus taxes). There will be a shuttle from the hotel to The Hackney Warehouse beginning at 4:10 pm and ending at 11:45 pm

There are many cute mountain, lake, and river home rentals in the area. Murphy is a small town nestled in the mountains. Make sure to research any possible rentals carefully as it may look close, but winding mountain roads can be challenging in the dark. The Venue (Hackney Warehouse) address is 11 Railroad Street.

Flight

Atlanta, GA, Chattanooga, TN, or Asheville, NC

Murphy doesn't have a nearby airport so you will need to rent a car to drive from the airport. From Atlanta, it is about 2 hours and 10 minutes. Chattanooga is the shortest drive at an hour and 40 minutes. Asheville is also about 2 hours and 10 minutes away.

It is a beautiful drive through the mountains to Murphy , NC. Plan on about 2 hours from the northern suburbs of Atlanta. Add an extra 15-30 minutes coming from downtown Atlanta, especially if there is traffic. The drive from Cincinnati is about 6 hours.
