Our story begins alittle over 5 years ago right before covid. My daughter, Esther and I had recently moved to Pine Grove from Mendocino County. I worked alot at the Jackson Casino, we pretty much stayed to ourselves. We would often pass the "guy" who lived at the cornor house of our street, he always waved and smiled when we went bye. It wasn't until our truck broke down right next to his house that we offically met, Joe!! He was our savior that day, brought us home and ended up fixing my truck in my driveway. It didn't take long before we found out that we had alot in common, we were the same age, he has a son, Jojo. we both like the outdoors, dirt bikes, both paint houses, love the same type of music, really the list goes on. We exchanged numbers and ended up going over to his house for dinner the next night, he made the best flautas. We just clicked from the beginning. Covid happened and I got laid off thats when we started painting houses together. To say that we "work" well together is an understatement. We worked together during that time and had fun doing it. What more could you ask for then working with your bestfriend everyday. A couple years in we fully moved in together and became a family of 4. Both of us have great jobs, Joe works for the state and still enjoys painting houses. I'm pursuing my passion of animals and am working toward getting my Vet. Tech License. Jojo is a jounior in high school and competes in dirt bike racing on the weekends, Esther is in 5th grade and loves working with our mustang when ever she can. We are happy and i couldnt ask for a better partner in life. On Christmas day we went to the snow and Joe proposed. It was a total suprise, apparently a few people knew, but I had no idea. Our family continues to change, grow and improve daily. To be continued.......
