Haig Point

We highly recommend that guests choose to stay on island at Haig Point, which is where all wedding events will take place. There are a variety of beautiful and cozy rental homes available that we have completely blocked off for the wedding weekend for our guests! Important! If you are part of the Wedding Party or are Family, Hannah and Joe have already set aside housing for you. Once you RSVP yes, Hannah and Joe will send you your rental information. For all other wedding guests – please use the below link to view the homes available in the Haig Point rental program. While searching, please keep arrival and departure blank, and then hit search. You will not see all accommodations if you select a date as we have pre-blocked the reservations. Note: All wedding guests have booked homes! Haig Point Ferry and Water Taxi

Haig Point on Daufuskie Island is accessible via a private ferry from the Haig Point Embarkation (10 Haig Point Ct, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928). Ferries depart Hilton Head every hour on the half hour from 6:30am to 11:30pm. Ferries departing Haig Point leave every hour departing on the 40s from 7:40am to 11:40pm (with the exception of the 6:30am ferry). For more details please call the Ferry Front Desk at 800-686-3441. For those staying in Haig Point, drop off your luggage with the valets at the covered Bag Drop at the Haig Point Embarkation. All of your luggage will be delivered to your accommodations. Head inside the Welcome Center to check in, receive your ferry passes, and enjoy the ride! Separate from the Ferry, Haig Point operates a private 24-hour Water Taxi departing from Harbour Town, Hilton Head. Located on the dock behind the Quarterdeck (160 Lighthouse Rd, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928) look for the "Boat Owners & Guests Only" sign with the Haig Point Lighthouse symbol. The Water Taxi departs Harbour Town every hour on the 20s from 7:20am to 11:20pm. From Haig Point, the boat departs every hour on the 10s from 7:10am to 11:10pm. Other Accomodations

Some guests may prefer to stay on Hilton Head Island. This option does offer the typical mainland conveniences many are used to, but adds a bit of travel complexity day-to-day as this will require you to plan for which Haig Point ferry to take over to Daufuskie Island for each wedding event. If this ends up being more convenient, we recommend the Courtyard Hilton Head Island or utilizing AirBnB to find a place to stay within Sea Pines.
