We want you to look good and be comfortable, so whatever that means to you. There’ll probably be a lot of business casual, but for the desert. Some folks will be fancier than others, and there might even be some Hawaiian shirts and jeans in the crowd. It's looking like it’ll be on the chillier side for Tucson next Sat, mid-50s, with potentially even a little sprinkle of rain, so sweaters and jackets are more than welcome.
We want everyone to stay safe, so we encourage everyone who is traveling to take a COVID test before traveling. We also encourage everyone to test before coming to the ceremony. If you test positive, please isolate, let us know so that we can support, and join the livestream. We support any and all mask wearing that feels safe and helpful. We will have extra masks and hand sanitizer for anyone who wants.
Everything will happen at Tohono Chul, which is located at 7366 North Paseo Del Norte. The ceremony is in the Performance Garden. After the ceremony, everyone will head to the Pavilion for a "cocktail hour," followed by dinner, dancing, and being together.
Our ceremony will start at 4:30pm MST, so we encourage you to arrive between 3:30pm and 4pm so that you have some time to see old friends and family, sign our guestbook, and explore the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. We'd love to start the ceremony on time, so make sure you've found a seat by 4:25.
It's pretty unpredictable! At the moment it's looking like high 60's during the ceremony, but the forecast has taken some wild swings, so we recommend coming prepared for chillier weather and having layers handy for the wedding day.
We will have an outdoor ceremony, so please plan your outfit accordingly. The cocktail hour, dinner, and reception will be both indoor and outdoor, with dinner tables inside of a room with large, wall-sized openings.
Kids are more than welcome! There is a children's garden at Tohono Chul that will be open, and we'll make sure there's always someone there throughout the evening. We're working on other activities and are open to support and ideas, so let us know if you have any! We'd also love to see kids on the dance floor and mingling with the rest of the community as much as they want. If you have specific needs around childcare, please let us know!
Like many western cities, Tucson sprawls and has relatively little public transportation. Our wedding venue is about 20 miles from the airport. For those who will be here for more than just the ceremony on February 25, we recommend renting a car.
