What is the dress code?
Answer
We are going for a casual/semi-casual garden party vibe. Feel free to checkout this website (https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet) for some insight as to what casual/semi-casual looks like. Clothing is required at all times, no skinny dipping (that goes for all the Grantner women especially).

Will there be booze?
Answer
Of course, it wouldn't be our wedding without free booze. We will have a couple of signature drinks with liquor, beer and wine, as well as some tequila for shots. There will also be non-alcoholic drinks as well.

What shoes should I wear?
Answer
The walking surfaces will vary between grass, concrete, and a sport court. Heels are fine but stilettos are not recommended.

How long will the ceremony be?
Answer
We will be doing private vows in the morning so the ceremony will be on the shorter side, 10-15 minutes tops.

Will the Lions game be on?
Answer
Obviously, we apologize that our ceremony is during the game, but we will have it on and will be watching with everyone before and after the ceremony!

How long is the reception?
Answer
There will a short cocktail hour after the ceremony for time for family photos. Following that will be a reception with BBQ and mingling. The reception will conclude by 6 pm, as the bridal party will be departing for an after party at the couples house.

What food will there be?
Answer
Prior to the ceremony light snacks and drinks will be available. This utterly fantastic event will be catered by City BBQ. There will be pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cornbread, and banana pudding.

Where should we park?
Answer
Please park in the Portage Central Stable parking lot (8321 S Westnedge Ave, Portage, MI 49002). You will then enter the backyard through the back gate, which will be open. We will also have signs showing where to enter the yard.
