On June 11th 2018, Jesse and Hannah met at a Crossroads college group night. For Jesse, he saw Hannah right away and knew he needed to talk to her. Hannah thought the night was kind of boring and was looking forward to leaving. However, Jesse suggested that everyone should play the game Code Names and that Hannah and him should be Code Masters so that he would have more opportunities to talk to her. Jesse thought the game went well and wanted to ask Hannah out but unfortunately, Hannah’s friend informed Jesse that Hannah was happily in a 3 year relationship. Jesse backed off and they went their separate ways. Fast forward to May 12th 2019, Jesse messaged Hannah on Instagram after he noticed she was single and asked her to ice cream later that week. But that seemed too far away so they hung out the next day at in n out. They both agreed to hangout again and Jesse knew right away that this was the girl he wanted to be with. Hannah was a little more skeptical and took more time to figure out if she wanted Jesse to pursue her as a friend or as something more. Hannah friend zoned Jesse later that week when they went on a hike together. Although, Hannah didn’t want Jesse to pursue her in that way anymore, Jesse didn’t let that discourage him. He knew this was the girl he wanted to be with. And so he made that happen. The days after that, Jesse and Hannah hung out a handful of times just as friends and Hannah started to realize how genuine and kind hearted Jesse really was. After asking multiple times, Hannah agreed to go on an official date in which Jesse planned this romantic day in Laguna. From there, they were pretty much inseparable and spent most of their free time together. During this time Jesse and Hannah decided that their relationship was ready for the next step.
