Minnesota State Fair
The Minnesota State fair is mine and Jeff's favorite event of the summer! Stay an extra day or two to check it out. If you go, make sure to try the duck bacon wontons from Giggle's (Hannah's favorite) and the deep fried cookie dough pie from Minneapple Pie (Jeff's favorite).
University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
The Landscape Arboretum is a 1200 acre public garden with lots of paved paths and wooded trails to explore on. It's an awesome outdoor location that Jeff and I like to visit in the summer!
Lake Minnetonka
There are SO many great activities and restaurants to stop by if you're near Lake Minnetonka. Maynard's is our favorite spot to visit for casual lakeside dining with delicious summer drinks. The buffalo chicken wrap and walleye sandwich are our go-to's. On the other side of the lake, COV is a more elevated dining option that Jeff and I love. This is where we had our engagement party! If you're in the area in the morning, go to Josefina's for an amazing coffee!
Mall of America®
If anyone knows Hannah, you know that she loves a good shopping day. Jeff also loves tagging along for shopping days ;). The Mall of America is the most popular attraction in Minnesota and for good reason. It has all the stores you can think of and it's fun to people watch! When Jeff and I need to get some new clothes for the change in seasons or for an event, we'll make a fun date out of going to MOA.
