When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by [TBD] so we can finalize seating and catering counts.

Where should we stay?

Answer

See the travel page for 2 hotels where we have blocks. Final day to book is November 10 and 13th for each hotel. After that, book anywhere as needed.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive by 3:30 PM so guests can be seated before it begins.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at St. Thomas Preservation Hall. Cocktail hour will be held just across the street at City Club of Wilmington, and guests will walk over after the ceremony before returning to St. Thomas for dinner and dancing.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are indoors, but guests will briefly walk outside between venues for cocktail hour, so please dress accordingly for December weather.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal / Black Tie Optional. Suits or tuxedos and cocktail or formal dresses are welcome. December evenings in Wilmington can be a bit chilly, so you may want to bring a wrap or jacket.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony be unplugged. Please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony so our photographer can capture the moment and everyone can be fully present.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If a plus-one is included, it will be indicated on your invitation and RSVP.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

What are the parking options?

Answer

Street parking is available downtown and is free on weekends near the venue. There are also paid parking decks nearby.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation details are still being finalized. The venue is also a short Uber ride from the hotels we are considering, making rideshare an easy option.

Is there an after party?

Answer

For anyone who wants to keep the celebration going, we may gather somewhere downtown after the reception. We’ll decide the plan that evening and spread the word!
