This love is years in the making. Let’s celebrate accordingly.

Hannah and Jake met through mutual friends during their sophomore year at the University of Delaware. They could sense early on that they had a strong, undeniable connection and in December of 2013 (in the most romantic of fashion) Jake surprised Hannah for her birthday with a trip to NYC. He asked Hannah to be his girlfriend while ice skating in Central Park and the rest is history. During their time at UD, they loved to go dancing at Tim’s Bar on Friday nights, grab ½ priced nachos at Klondike Kate’s on Tuesdays, slater race at Grotto’s on Saturdays and make each other laugh every day in between. Hannah and Jake graduated in 2015 and immediately started their professional careers, although not as close to each other as they had grown accustomed. Hannah moved to Glenside, PA, and Jake moved back to his hometown of Skippack, PA. They still spent as much time as possible together, visiting often, making homemade pizzas, going to the Keswick Tavern (dubbed the “KT”), and taking the train into Philadelphia for date night dinners and nights out with friends. About a year after graduating from UD, Hannah and Jake both moved to Philadelphia, where they would spend the next 5 years living only blocks away from each other, just like they did in college. This is where they grew and established themselves in their careers, all the while their love growing even stronger. Gatherings with friends in the 910 Montrose kitchen or the 1438 Clymer rooftop, dinner on the town, and going to sports games will forever be some of their favorite memories. In July of 2021, Jake showed his commitment to Hannah with a very romantic, well-planned (dare I say extravagant?) proposal in Rittenhouse Park in Philadelphia. With tears in her eyes, Hannah accepted, and they have been celebrating ever since! Presently, Hannah and Jake are on to a new chapter of their lives, living in the New York City Metro Area and can’t wait to see what the future will hold.
